The advantages of accessing information from Google Search Console API
You can access a lot of information within Google Search Console manually such as data that can be used to develop new supporting topics. By working with a Python developer, you can scale those actions across your website and get access to large amounts of data.

Working with Python developers to access data from the Search Console API
Using platforms like Upwork and Fiverr, you can hire Python developers to code the scripts that you develop as an SEO. These developers will be able to improve the scripts you already have integrating various APIs and pull the data on your behalf.

Data that can be pulled from Google Search Console using the API
Anything that youre able to query or filter through Google Search Console can be pulled through the API. Steve worked with a website where they pulled every question from every page on the website and they ended up maxing out their limit at 50,000 questions.

Limitations of accessing data through Google Search Console API
A vast amount of data can be accessed through Google Search Console API. However, limitations really come down to the amount of time you have to go through the data and action it.

Recommendations for SEOs just getting into the Google Search Console API space
You have to know which APIs can be leveraged. Then, you can order a report from gscore.io that will show you all the unique topics every page is ranking for, the CPC data, and data to optimize every page on your site that gets organic search traffic.

    Reports available on gscore.io
The main report available will show you all the keywords your page is ranking for and which keywords are not contained within your content. Initially, Steve had developed a WordPress plugin, but he realized there were too many limitations on that tool.

The difference between working with software and working with Python
If youre working with software, the reports for which keywords are ranking for a page will only provide an average position which isnt reliable. But, if youre using scripts, you can get a more accurate position tracking faster than you would with software.

Using Search Console data to improve ranking
Search Console data will guide you in terms of new topics, keywords, and synonyms that are ranking but arent contained within your content. By adding those keywords to your content, youll start to see average position jumps right away.
